As a professional engagement and wedding photographer with 15 years experience, wedding photography holds a special place in my heart.
What is more inspiring that two people committing their lives together? Love is the most sacred bond we can experience. That is why finding the perfect wedding photographer is one of the most important aspects of your wedding day. I absolutely love to photograph weddings and consider it an honor as well as a great responsibility. The photographs taken will provide you and your family the opportunity to reflect and remember the special moments and the people whom you shared this very special day with. The responsibility of capturing a couple's wedding day cannot be overstated.
It's not just capturing but also creating! You want to feel confident in your photographer's ability to capture this once in a lifetime event in a way that makes you also feel comfortable and authentic. I have been photographing weddings for over 15 years. My style and approach to wedding photography is photo-journalistic - I like to capture the day as it unfolds rather than try to orchestrate every moment since it ends up feeling fake or staged. With that said, when it comes to the formals (pictures of the couple, wedding party, family) I will help 'pose' and choose locations to create those iconic images. Again, the best way to understand a photographer and their style is to meet in person and view several weddings.
Over the 15+ years of being a wedding photographer, I have found that most couples have no idea where to begin when planning their wedding. Realizing that many cannot afford a wedding planner, I have often acted as one - helping them to understand and plan their wedding. This inspired me to create an 65 page book helping couples plan, organize and inspire them. Every couple who books with me will receive this for no extra charge.
My fiance and I were looking for wedding photographers in Syracuse, NY to do our wedding pictures - both the wedding ceremony pictures as well as our engagement pictures.
There were plenty of cheap photographers near me that did wedding couple photography, but we were looking for the best local photographers - wedding photographers that are creative and unique.

During the wedding he and his assistant were absolutely magic gathering all of us, to pose, laugh, and enjoy ourselves. He made it easy. The final wedding images were incredible. From the wedding ceremony photos to the formal wedding photos to the wedding reception - they were all the best wedding photos I have seen.
